Craven Fawcett believes in establishing long-term commercial relationships with its customers and places great importance on a comprehensive post-sale support service.  We employ service engineers who are based permanently in the field and can offer comprehensive service contract arrangements embracing entire production lines, including equipment of other makes.

While our machines are designed to give constant high performance over a long trouble-free working life, like all machine tools, they do require regular maintenance to remain operating at their optimum efficiency. The Craven Fawcette pre-planned service and maintenance contract ensures service visits are carried out at regular intervals and can be scheduled into your production planning. Regular maintenance should greatly reduce the number of minor faults that occur and more serious troubles will be remedied before they become critical to the operation of the machine. In short this should result in:

  • Lower running costs
  • Increased output
  • Minimum re-work
  • Minimum downtime
  • Maximised profits

Installation & Commissioning

  • All products can be purchased alongside an engineer to install and commission to ensure optimum performance
  • Each visit is followed up with a report giving you peace of mind for the quality of work
  • As and where required, our engineers can offer onsite training to ensure that parts will be continually maintained to the correct standard
  • We have a large field-based service team to suit your needs

Conditional Monitoring

  • Monitor conditions in machinery to identify changes that could indicate a developing fault
  • It is a major part of predictive maintenance
  • Implementing condition monitoring allows for maintenance to be scheduled and preventive actions taken to prevent further failure and subsequent unplanned downtime
  • Wear on machine parts, bearings, rotors, or shafts can cause them to vibrate in unusual patterns that can be monitored, recorded, and analyzed, allowing us to identify defects and potential failures
  • Condition monitoring systems provide important benefits from a financial, operational, and safety perspective
